ANTHONY HEALY (ARPS, AFIAP)

Tony Healy has been taking photographs for about 45 years. Initially he specialised in Nature Photography and in this area was awarded an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society. He has been a judge in this category on a number of occasions for both the Sydney International Exhibition of Photography and the Royal Easter Show Salon. This combined with his photographic activities earned him an Artiste of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique. He has co-authored two books one on Australian animals and the other on Insects, authored two sets of study prints on Insects & Aquatic Organisms and contributed a significant number of photographs to the Collins publication "Australian Encyclopaedia" as well as photographs to various otherpublications.

Since retiring he has done a considerable amount of traveling.

He is now a member of the Digital Image Group of the Royal Photographic Society. Since the demise of Kodak Kodachrome film he has converted to digital imaging and would like to sell a lot of his acquired “wet” photographic equipment. A venture in which he is not alone.
